On July 10, 2019, Piraeus Bank and the German-Ukrainian Fund (NUF) signed the partnership agreement aimed at implementing the SME Support Programs, some of which will be provided in national currency under the EU's EU4Business initiative.

"The German-Ukrainian Fund notes the high interest of Ukrainian banks in expanding of small and medium-sized enterprises lending, which have proved their reliability and stability due to the financial crises of recent years. This interest is also demonstrated by Piraeus Bank, with whom we have signed a partnership agreement," said Oleg Strinja, Executive Director of NUF.

"Partnership with NUF is another important stage in the Bank's strategy as a financial institution on small and medium-sized businesses focus. So, we offer a wide range of services and products for SME representatives: it is loans for any purpose, and factoring, and overdrafts etc. We also invest in long-term modernization and energy saving projects. I am confident that the SME segment is future of our economy and we expect to increase its funding through cooperation with the German-Ukrainian Found," commented Sergei Naumov, Chairman of the Board of Piraeus Bank.
