Piraeus Bank resumes mortgage lending
19 January 2017

Piraeus Bank resumes lending for real estate on the secondary market. Following the continuous deceleration of the interest rates during the last year receiving a mortgage loan has now become more affordable for consumers who wish to buy their own property.

According to Piraeus Bank’s mortgage terms an individual could receive a mortgage loan with a tenor of up to 15 years and for an amount between 300 thousand UAH and 3 million UAH representing a percentage of up to 50% of the value of the property to be purchased. The interest rate stands at 19.99% fixed for the first year followed by a floating rate based on UIRD revised semi-annually.

“We are continuously monitoring the market and consumer demand as well as analyzing the macroeconomic environment. We believe that by reinstating our mortgage offer to our customers we reply positively to their needs and widen the product offering available to our clientele. Currently our mortgage offer is valid in all Piraeus Bank outlets in Kiev and Odessa and we plan to expand the availability to all areas where Piraeus Bank is present.” commented Ilias Mouzakis, member of Piraeus Bank’s Board.
