Useful information when performing transactions with payment cards

Dear Customers!

To increase the convenience and prevent the creation of a negative balance (unauthorized overdraft) on your current account when performing foreign currency transactions, using the payment cards in your account, 2% of the transaction amount is automatically temporarily blocked. Blocking is done in the currency of the account. The blocking is caused by difference in exchange rates applied by Visa and the bank. After withdrawal of actually spent amount the blocked sum will be automatically unlocked.

Also, when private clients makecash withdrawal transactions at ATMs of Ukrainian banks, the commission amounting 1.5% + 5 UAH is automatically temporarily blocked. (Except Visa Platinum cards and cards issued under Optimal +, Optimal and Premium tariff plans). After withdrawal of actually spent amount the blocked sum(a commission of 1.5% + 5 UAH) that was blocked during the operation is automatically unblocked. The main purpose of the blocking of funds is to prevent the creation of a negative balance (unauthorized overdraft) in case of  shortage of funds on the account when debiting the cash withdrawal commission, starting with the 6th transaction, which is payable.

Please keep this in mind when making payments with your cards.
