Piraeus Bank’s net profit for Q3 2015 amounted to UAH 4.8 mln. against UAH 86.4 mln. loss in the correspondent quarter of the previous year, confirming positive trend of the bank’s development, even in times of financial instability and crisis in the market. This was stated by the bank’s press service with reference to the Finance Department of JSC "Piraeus Bank ICB".
Cumulatively Piraeus Bank’s Net Profit for the first 9 months of 2015 amounted to UAH 7.3 mln.
A significant improvement in the financial results for the third quarter was achieved, in particular through a significant increase in net interest income, which grew in April-September by 41% compared to the second quarter of this year and amounted to UAH 72.5 million. Total net interest income earned by the bank from the beginning of 2015 amounted to UAH 135 million, which is almost two times higher than the bank’s net interest income for the first falf and the same period of the previous year. Also the bank continues to enlarge level of commission income, total amount of which amounted to UAH 345.3 mln that is 45% more than for 9 months of 2014.
At the end of September the bank's assets amounted to UAH 3.2 billion, loan and investment portfolio – UAH 1.9 bln (increased by UAH 400 mln compared to the beginning of 2015), deposits of individuals – UAH 1.15 bln. The bank’s regulatory capital adequacy amounted to 59.38% (while H2 min by NBU – 10%), instant liquidity – 282.44% (while H4 min by NBU – 20%), current liquidity – 125.27% (while H5 min by NBU – 40%).
