Piraeus Bank, part of one of the largest European financial groups – Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A., has joined the Ivano-Frankivsk Business Association (BAIF) — a powerful community of entrepreneurs that contributes to the region’s economic development and fosters a favorable business environment in Western Ukraine.
This step underscores Piraeus Bank’s strategic commitment to expanding its presence in the region and supporting local businesses amid challenging economic conditions.
“We see our partnership with BAIF as an opportunity not only to strengthen our ties with the local business community but also to provide entrepreneurs with access to European financial practices and modern banking tools. Our goal is to become a reliable partner for every business driving the growth of Western Ukraine,” said Roman Vulchyn, Head of Regional Development for Ivano-Frankivsk and Piraeus Bank’s representative at BAIF.
The Ivano-Frankivsk Business Association unites over 80 active companies and entrepreneurs who work together to improve community well-being and enhance the competitiveness of regional businesses. Its key mission is to advocate for and protect the economic, legal, social, and other interests of its members. The organization serves as a platform for dialogue between entrepreneurs, local authorities, and international partners, contributing to the sustainable development of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Within the framework of its cooperation with BAIF, Piraeus Bank plans to:
Strengthen collaboration with local businesses and gain deeper insight into their needs.
Provide Association members with access to international expertise and specialized financial programs (cash management, lending, deposits) aimed at supporting regional initiatives and investment projects.
Participate in joint events and educational projects that promote knowledge exchange and the creation of new business connections.
Together with BAIF, Piraeus Bank will continue to build a strong and responsible business ecosystem — one that enables every company to achieve sustainable growth and development, strengthening the economy of Western Ukraine.
A modern Piraeus Bank branch in Ivano-Frankivsk was opened in 2023 and located at 49 Kardynala Liubomyra Huzara Street.
