A client who has new a passport type – electronic plastic ID-Card version can receive the full range of services which suppose a client identification in the bank branches. For the best servicing, special equipment which allows to read chip card data of new document type were implemented in the Piraeus Bank branches.

“According to the Ukrainian legislations, ID-Card is a passport of country citizen. Therefore all financial institutions have to ensure the smooth operation of clients with new passport type (ID). Due to the fact that new ID-passports keepers is increasing every day, our bank establishes specially designed hardware for client identification through reading chip card data. Thus clients with new ID-passports receive comfortable and prompt service in our bank,” commented Katerina Vinnytska, deputy retailbanking director of Piraeus Bank.
