Piraeus Bank in Ukraine expanded functionality of the telephone and internet banking winbank

Kiev, Piraeus Bank in Ukraine expanded possibilities to manage accounts via internet banking system winbank and telephone banking by adding the ability to set individual daily limits on remittances to other banks in Ukraine and abroad. This information was announced by the bank’s press service with reference to Retail banking department.

According to information from the Piraeus Bank’s Retail banking department users of the internet banking system winbank can change standard limits for money transfers to the third parties and set individual limits for such operations. The maximum limit for money transfers to the third party accounts opened in Ukrainian banks equals UAH 350 000 per day for residents and non-residents of Ukraine. While the standard limit for such operation does not exceed UAH 50 000.

In addition, non-residents of Ukraine can set individual limits for money transfers (to the third parties) on account opened in foreign banks. The maximum limit for such transactions can be set in equivalent of UAH 350 000 in currency of transfer (standard limit equals to the equivalent of UAH 50 000).

Exception form money transfers abroad for residents of Ukraine, the standard limit for such operation can not be changed according to the legislative requirement and equals UAH 15 000 per day.

According to established maximum limits for telephone banking, the bank’s clients can transfer money to the accounts opened in Ukrainian banks in favor of third parties in the amount up to UAH 50 000. The maximum limit for money transfers abroad for residents of Ukraine equals to the equivalent of UAH 15 000 in currency of transfer; for non-residents – up to UAH 50 000. Standard limit for all transactions equal UAH 5 000.

At the same time money transfers among own accounts remained without any limitation.

To set an individual limit client should call the Contact Center and using the voice menu select "2" (the entrance to the telephone banking), after successful authentication inform the operator of the call center about desired limit size. Term of the modified limit validity is unlimited and allows client to make transfers within the specified limit on a regular basis.

All the bank’s clients may use this service for free. Regardless of the channel of accessing winbank all the tariffs for the use of online banking are the same.
