Last week, Piraeus Bank hosted the fifth meeting within its ongoing initiative dedicated to supporting women’s potential and fostering leadership development. This time, the business breakfast featured the well-known TV presenter, journalist, and public figure Marichka Padalko.
The meeting was filled with an open and inspiring atmosphere. Marichka shared her personal experiences and talked about her daily self-discipline practices — particularly running, which helps her stay energized, maintain balance, and manage stress.
The discussion touched on the power of habit, the importance of small daily steps that lead to meaningful change, and the value of mutual support among women. Participants actively engaged in the conversation, asked questions, and shared their own stories and insights.
“Women in leadership are not just about fairness — they’re about effectiveness. Research shows that companies with gender-balanced management teams achieve better financial performance and stronger reputations,” commented Lyubov Lytovchak, Member of the Management Board at Piraeus Bank Ukraine, who acted as the moderator and organizer of the meeting.
Such gatherings are more than just events — they create a space for empowerment, growth, and shared learning, where leadership is viewed not as a position, but as a mindset.
Piraeus Bank Ukraine remains committed to initiatives that support women’s development, encourage knowledge exchange, and build a strong community of professionals who inspire one another to achieve more.
