The change of the bank's name to JSC "Piraeus Bank ICB" was approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of International Commercial Bank Open Joint Stock Company held on January 28, 2008.
Thus, JSC "Piraeus Bank ICB" became a legal successor of International Commercial Bank Open Joint Stock Company. All rights and liabilities of International Commercial Bank Open Joint Stock Company were assigned to JSC "Piraeus Bank ICB".

Besides, the changes and amendments to the Statute of International Commercial Bank Open Joint Stock Company have been approved subject to their approval by the National Bank of Ukraine. The process of bank re-branding will commence upon the registration of the new wording of the Statute with the NBU.
Note. International Commercial Bank Open Joint Stock Company is a legal successor of Levada Joint Stock Bank Closed Joint Stock Company and Tavria Joint Stock ommercial Bank Open Joint Stock Company.
Earlier an agreement was signed for selling 99.6% of the shares to one of the biggest Greek banks - Piraeus Bank S.A. (Athens), the net share capital of which totals to 2.3 bln. USD and the assets amount to 46 bln. USD. Currently, the regional network of Piraeus Bank S.A. includes 545 branches worldwide and 9 803 of employees. In the Central and Eastern European market the Bank has got branches in Romania, Albania, Bulgaria and Serbia.
